Ravens LB upset with Madden 24 trailer showing Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen trucking him

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Patrick Queen had one question after the Madden 24 trailer was released on Wednesday.

“How I get signed up to be the one ran over on the release video,” Queen tweeted on Wednesday morning.

In the EA Sports video game trailer, Queen is seen getting truck by Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen, this year’s Madden cover athlete. Here’s a look at a still frame from the video.

Queen, the Ravens 2020 first round pick, said he woke up with good energy before seeing the video. Jamison Hensley, Ravens beat reporter for ESPN, shared a few of Queen’s tweets and the video from the Madden 24 trailer. Not included in Hensley’s tweet was one not safe for work tweet from the Ravens linebacker.

To Queen’s credit, the Ravens linebacker did bring Allen down in the open field last year. Ryan Mink, the Ravens’ editorial director, shared the clip with the caption, “Real life vs. video game.”

One clip that Mink did not share, however, was Allen faking Queen out on a quarterback bootleg that ended up as the game-winning score in the regular season matchup between the teams.

Baltimore and Buffalo are not slated to play against one another in the regular season, but perhaps Queen will get another crack at stopping Allen and the Bills in the playoffs.
