Winning $1M Mega Millions ticket sold at same Westside Publix that sold unclaimed $1.1B ticket

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Someone in the River City is $1 million richer after playing the Mega Millions.

One of the two winning tickets was purchased at a Publix on Roosevelt Boulevard. The winning numbers were 7, 11, 22, 29, 38, and the mega ball number was 4.

The lucky winner matched all five numbers except the mega ball.

The other ticket was sold in Crawfordville.

This isn’t the first time that the store had the winning ticket. A ticket worth an estimated $36 million was sold in August — no one ever claimed that ticket though.

The winning ticket where all the numbers matched was sold in New Jersey with a $1.1 billion prize.
