Alyssa Milano posts cryptic message about ‘resilience’ after she’s accused of getting Shannen Doherty fired from ‘Charmed’

Alyssa Milano is keeping her head up after she was accused of getting Shannen Doherty fired from “Charmed.”

The “Who’s the Boss” star posted a cryptic message about “resilience” on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday as she celebrated turning 51.

“Today is my birthday! However, instead of just saying my age, from now on I’m going to say that I have reached “level 51,” she wrote.

“To unlock this level, I have discovered a few cheat codes that have helped me navigate the challenges and triumphs along the way. The first cheat code is RESILIENCE.”

Milano explained she’s faced her “fair share of heartache, anxiety, and depression,” but has overcome the obstacles through “love” for herself and the world, which keeps her “gentle and forgiving.”

“It is through this love that I have found the strength to keep pushing forward,” she continued.

The “Commando” star further said she has also grown in “compassion and empathy,” which has helped her to “understand and share the feelings of others” and “forge deep connections.”

“Although they can sometimes be uncomfortable emotions to experience, they have shaped me into a kind and humble person who strives to ease the suffering of humanity,” the actress explained.

She also documented that “gratitude” was another lesson she’s learned as she embraces the “simple joys of life” that give her what she needs to “survive.”

“So, as I celebrate my birthday at level 51, I do so with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude,” Milano continued.

“I embrace the challenges and joys that lie ahead, knowing that I have the cheat codes of resilience, gratitude, compassion, empathy, and the love of those around me to guide me through this game of life.”

Milano’s cryptic message comes after her “Charmed” co-star Holly Marie Combs alleged she got Doherty fired from the hit 2000s series.

During Sunday’s episode of Doherty’s “Let’s Be Clear” podcast, the “Pretty Little Liars” alum recalled learning why her co-star was booted from The WB series after chatting with show producer Jonathan Levin.

“He said, ‘We didn’t mean to — but we’ve been backed into this corner — we’re basically in this position where it’s one or the other,’” Combs recalled.

“‘We were told [by Alyssa] it’s her or [Shannen] and Alyssa has threatened to sue us for a hostile workplace environment.’”

Combs, 50, claimed Milano allegedly built a case against her and Doherty, 52, by documenting “every time she felt uncomfortable on set.”

“There are actually people who behave badly and get away with it,” she continued. “I don’t think people understand that never happened here.”

The “Beverly Hills, 90210″ alum — who was killed off the show in the Season 3 finale in 2001 — admitted she was left dumbfounded by the unexpected firing.

“I lived a year after that sort of replaying everything in my brain and really trying to find those moments [of alleged bad behavior on set] — and I couldn’t find them,” Doherty said.

“I don’t ever remember being mean to her on set. I remember an episode I directed where she did something on the Christmas break and they asked me to work around some things with her and I had no problem with it. I couldn’t have been more kind and understanding,” she added.

Milano previously admitted that she regretted her years-long feud with Doherty.

“You know, I could take responsibility for a lot of our tension that we had,” she told Entertainment Tonight in October 2021. “I think a lot of our struggle came from feeling that I was in competition rather than it being that sisterhood that the show was so much about. And I have some guilt about my part in that.”

While Doherty hasn’t mentioned rekindling with the “Sorry Not Sorry” author, Milano revealed in 2017 that the two were in contact again.
