‘KARMA will come back’: Nayanthara’s cryptic note amid legal feud with Dhanush

There seems to be no end to the ongoing legal battle between South stars Dhanush and Nayanthara. After the Rayon actor filed a lawsuit against the actress, her husband-filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, and their production house Rowdy Pictures Private Limited, Nayanthara shared a story on Instagram about ‘Karma’

“KARMA SAYS!! When you destroy someone’s life with lies, Take it as a loan. It will come back to you with interest,” the message read.

This came days after a lawsuit was filed against Nayanthara for unauthorised use of clips from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in Netflix’s Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale. While it began with a legal notice sent to the couple by Dhanush, warning them of a lawsuit if the BTS visuals were not taken down, it also stated a compensation of Rs 10 crore in damages if they proceeded with the clips. The lawsuit received a strongly-worded statement by Nayanthara,

describing Dhanush’s actions as an ‘all-time low’ in an open letter.

“It’s almost been 10 years since the release of the film and it is a long time for someone to continue to be this vile while wearing a mask in front of the world. I have not forgotten all the horrible things that you said about the film that was one of your biggest hits as a producer and a film that is loved by all even today,” a part of her letter read.

Later, the case was brought to the Madras High Court on November 27,  and the court asked Nayanthara, Vignesh Shivan, and others to clarify the allegations against them.

The film in question Naanum Rowdy Dhaan features Nayanthara as the female lead opposite Vijay Sethupathi. A directorial debut by Vignesh Shivan. The film was produced by Dhanush under his Wunderbar Films.
