Auto launches in December 2024: Honda Amaze, Toyota Camry and more

The last month of 2024 is expected to witness major launches in the auto sector from several top brands such as Honda, Toyota, Mahindra and others. As people start gearing up for 2025, the auto industry is aiming to end 2024 with a bang.

Here’s taking a look at upcoming launches in December 2024:

  1. Honda Amaze 2024

Honda is all set to launch the next generation of its compact sedan Amaze on December 4. The car was recently spotted without camouflage, giving away major details about its new updated design.

With a key focus on safety, the company is expected to include six airbags, 360-degree cameras as well as parking sensors in the new version. Under the hood, it may have a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT. The company may also have a CNG variant.

  1. New Toyota Camry

The ninth-generation Toyota Camry will be unveiled in the Indian market on December 11. It is expected to be powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol hybrid engine that will be paired with eCVT. The new vehicle will now come with a large trapezoidal grille, accompanied by sleek headlamps with integrated LED DRLs and LED taillights.

  1. Mahindra XUV.e8

The Mahindra XUV.e8, the electric equivalent of the XUV 700, is expected to be launched next month or in the first half of next year. While there’s been no official confirmation, the Mahindra XUV.e8 is among the most-awaited electric vehicles this year.

  1. KTM 390 Adventure

The all-new KTM 390 Adventure will be unveiled in India during the India Bike Week early next month. As per reports, the company may release three variants, starting with X and Standard to the top-variant 390 Adventure R.

While KTM has not revealed any details, the upcoming bike is expected to be powered by the liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine available on KTM 390 Duke.

  1. Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin

Expanding its range of 650 cc bikes, Royal Enfield is soon expected to launch the new Classic 650 Twin.

Powered by a 647 cc air-oil-cooled engine with a 270-degree firing order, the motorcycle is expected to produce 46.39 hp of power at 7,250 rpm as well as 52.3 Nm of peak torque revving at 5,650 rpm.

Although no official date for its release has been announced yet, several media reports suggest that the bike may be unveiled towards December end or in January.
