Here’s taking a look at major tech launches in December 2024:
- iQOO 13
iQOO 13, successor to the widely popular iQOO 12, is all set for India debut on December 3. It will feature a massive 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display having HDR10+ support and 144Hz refresh rate as well as a peak brightness of 6500 nits. Powered by the all-new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with an octa-core CPU, it will run on Android 15.
The triple rear camera setup on iQOO 13 will feature three 50 MP lenses, including a wide, telephoto with 2x optical zoom, and an ultrawide camera.
- OnePlus 13 and 13R
After its China launch, the OnePlus 13 will reportedly be launched in India by December end or by January 2025. Besides this, the company is also aiming to unveil the OnePlus 13R and OnePlus Watch 3.
In China, the OnePlus 13 comes with a 6.82-inch display (same as the OnePlus 12), with a 120Hz refresh rate, besides offering 1,600 nits of brightness in regular mode and 4,500 nits of peak brightness.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and comes with OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15. The phone now comes with a larger 6,000mAh battery that supports a massive 100W wired charging along with 50W wireless charging.
- Redmi Note 14 series
The highly anticipated Redmi Note 14 series will be introduced to the Indian market on December 9. Among the smartphones in the lineup will be the regular Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro and the Redmi Note 14 Pro+. Rumour has it all three of them will come with a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
While the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is expected to run on Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC chipset, the Note 14 Pro will have MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra SoC Redmi Note 14 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC.
- Realme 14 series
In major competition to Redmi, the Real 14 series is also tipped for release in December end or by early next year. Pricing for the series is expected to be similar to that of the models currently available in the market.
- iQOO Neo 10 Pro
The iQOO Neo 10 series is all set for launch in China on November 29 and will succeed the iQOO Neo 9 lineup. Later, the company might release the smartphones in India in December or early next year.
On its official Weibo page, the brand recently shared that the iQOO Neo 10 Pro phone has scored 3,204,156 on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform — the highest to date.
The iQOO Neo 10 Pro will come with the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, which powers the iQOO 13 series.
