Not only did the BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP Mahayuti alliance achieve a landslide victory in Maharashtra, but 14 of its candidates also won by margins of over 1 lakh votes.
BJP’s Kashiram Pawara won the Shirpur seat by a record margin of 1,45,944 votes, defeating independent candidate Jitendra Thakur.
He was followed by the BJP’s Shivendraraje Abhaysinhraje Bhonsle, who defeated the Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Amit Kadam in Satara by a margin of 1,42,124 votes.
NCP leader Dhananjay Munde recorded the biggest margin of victory for any minister in the 2024 elections. He won the Parli assembly seat for the second time, defeating Rajesaheb Deshmukh of the NCP (SP) by 1,40,224 votes.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde won his bastion of Kopri-Panchpakhadi by 1,20,717 votes. Shinde won the seat for the fourth time by defeating Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Kedar Dighe, nephew of the late Anand Dighe.
Senior BJP leader and Higher Education Minister Chandrakant Patil retained the Kothrud seat in Pune by a margin of 1,12,041 votes, while Public Works Minister Dadaji Bhuse won the Malegaon Outer seat for the fifth consecutive time by 1,06,606 votes. NCP chief and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar won the Baramati seat for the eighth straight time, defeating his nephew Yugendra Pawar by a margin of 1,00,899 votes.
Debutant Sanjay Upadhyay recorded the biggest victory in Mumbai, winning the BJP stronghold of Borivali by a margin of 1,00,257 votes.
