The actor was brought to Lilavati Hospital at 3:30 am. Sources in the hospital told CNBC-TV18 that the actor was being operated. The actors got stabbed multiple times. He has six injuries out of which two cuts are deep and one is close to the spine, the sources added.
The incident reportedly took place at 2:30 am on Thursday.

The police said an unknown person entered the actor’s residence and argued with his maid, late last night. When the actor tried to intervene and pacify the man, he attacked Khan and injured him.
Mumbai Police told CNBC-TV18 that Saif’s wife Kareena Kapoor and his children were present in the home when the incident happened.
The police said the accused was carrying a sharp object but it is yet to confirm if it was a knife. The accused is on the run, the police added.
The police are waiting for Khan’s condition to improve to record his statement. The police have recorded the initial statements of his family members.
The police are investigating the matter.
