Singh noted that the real estate market has experienced significant price increases over the past three years, and he believes these elevated prices are likely to remain stable.

With his 20 years of experience in the industry, he has never witnessed a decline in real estate prices. He suggests that consumers should focus on acquiring property in the most cost-effective way, which will likely be supported by new deferred payment plans that developers are expected to introduce.
Regarding interest rates, Singh mentioned that rates are softening globally, with most financial institutions offering variable interest rates that adjust according to market conditions.
He described the market as having experienced a “bull run,” with prices nearly doubling from 2021 to 2022. The growth has slightly tempered in 2023-2024, with an increase of 10-12%. However, Singh remains optimistic, stating that prices will likely stabilise and remain strong moving forward.
Anuj Puri, Chairman of ANAROCK Property Consultants, highlighted the exceptional performance of the realty sector, emphasising that the industry has witnessed an unprecedented rally unlike anything in the past 30 years.
For the last three to four years, the market has consistently grown across all segments, including residential, which constitutes nearly 85% of the Indian real estate market.
Puri describes the current state of the real estate market as “fantastic,” noting that it is a unique time in the industry’s history.
