One of the standout additions is the camera effects. After the success of video call effects last year, WhatsApp now allows users to apply over 30 different backgrounds, filters, and effects to photos and videos shared in chats, bringing a creative flair to everyday conversations.
For those who love custom stickers, the app has introduced selfie stickers. Users can now take a selfie and instantly turn it into a sticker. By tapping the sticker creation button, you’ll be prompted to capture a selfie, which can then be transformed into a unique sticker. This feature is currently available on Android, with iOS support coming soon.
WhatsApp has also made it easier to share sticker packs. If you come across a sticker pack you think a friend will love, you can now send it directly within your chats, streamlining the sharing experience.
Additionally, quicker reactions are now available. By double-tapping a message, users can quickly react with their most-used emojis, allowing for faster, more efficient responses.
