Thomas Cook and SOTC to launch direct flights from Ahmedabad to Bhutan in April 2025

Omnichannel travel services provider Thomas Cook (India) Limited and group company SOTC Travel will launch direct flights from Ahmedabad to Bhutan, from April 2025 to enhance connectivity between Gujarat and Bhutan.

Currently, travellers who wish to fly from Ahmedabad to Bhutan need to take connecting flights from Kolkata or Delhi, resulting in layovers and the inconvenience of several check-ins and terminal transfers. The direct flight will provide a hassle-free experience to travellers.

Understanding the growing demand for outbound travel from Gujarat, the launch of the direct flights will allow tourists to explore Bhutan with ease. Moreover, the companies have launched a six-night tour package, which is designed to offer an authentic experience of Bhutan, accompanied by traditional Gujarati cuisine.
