Nvidia’s data-centre computing infrastructure will help Hyundai manage the vast data volumes required for training advanced AI models and developing a robust autonomous vehicle software stack.

Using Nvidia Omniverse on Nvidia OVX systems, Hyundai will create digital twins to simulate and optimise manufacturing processes. Nvidia claims that these virtual environments enable accurate product design, prototyping, and enhanced production efficiency, reducing costs and speeding up time-to-market.

Hyundai will also employ Nvidia Isaac Sim, a robotics simulation framework, to train industrial robots in realistic virtual settings and ensure robots interact safely and effectively with humans while improving manufacturing quality.

Simulation technology will play a crucial role in the safe deployment of autonomous vehicles. Hyundai will create virtual environments to test self-driving systems under diverse conditions, including extreme weather, heavy traffic, and rare scenarios. These simulations aim to validate autonomous driving applications and enhance vehicle safety.
