This time, the 43rd IITF is featuring 33 partner states and Union Territories as well as 49 central ministries, commodity boards, public sector undertakings (PSUs), public sector banks (PSBs) and companies like Titan, Jindal Steel & Power, JSW Steel, Relaxo, Hawkins and Woodland, according to the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
Further, there are international exhibitors from countries such as China, Sweden, Egypt, Iran, South Korea, Thailand, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, Tunisia, Lebanon and the UAE.
Theme
This year, the theme for the fair is ‘Viksit Bharat @2047’, highlighting India’s vision to become a self-reliant resilient nation by the year 2047.
Jharkhand is the focus state of the trade fair this time, while Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are serving as the partner states.
Date and timings
On November 14, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal inaugurated the 43rd edition of IITF at the Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. He said the central government is planning to expand the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) into a world-class agency that reflects the entire industry and the value chain at a single point. Through this, the world will look upon India as the best MICE destination. He added the Centre is looking to expand these facilities to cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Lucknow, Varanasi and Noida.
Inaugurated on November 14, the trade fair this year is scheduled to go on till November 27.
While November 14–18 served as the business days, exclusively for business (B2B) visitors, the entry to the trade fair for the general public started on Tuesday, November 19.
The general timing for the trade fair starts at 10 am and continues until 7:30 pm, with the last entry allowed till 6:30 pm.
On the last day (November 27), the entry will start at 10 am, but it will only go on until 4:30 pm, with the last entry allowed till 2 pm.
Ticket prices
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is providing tickets for the IITF at 55 metro stations across its network.
People can take online QR code-based tickets available on the Delhi Metro application.
Apart from this, the tickets are available on Bharat Mandapam Mobile App, Delhi Sarthi, the official website of ITPO and others.
The ticket price for adults is ₹80 on normal days and ₹150 on weekends or holidays, while for children it is ₹40 and ₹60, respectively.
