These changes aim to simplify work and improve productivity for businesses everywhere. Today, almost 70% of Fortune 500 companies use Microsoft 365 Copilot. This platform is becoming a key part of daily work, Microsoft said.
Microsoft said companies like Dow plan to save millions in their first year with Copilot. The Bank of Queensland Group stated that 70% of users save between two-and-a-half to five hours every week. Additionally, Microsoft said Copilot Pages will act as a lively space for AI teamwork. Users will create interactive flowcharts and code blocks using data from Microsoft Graph. This feature is expected to become available in early 2025.
In Microsoft Teams, Copilot will now summarise conversations based on visuals shared during meetings. This, Microsoft said, really enhances teamwork. Users can also get quick summaries of files shared in chats for easy information access. A public preview is slated to start in early 2025.
Moreover, Copilot in PowerPoint will soon change entire presentations into 40 languages, keeping the original design. This feature might be ready in 2025. In Outlook, Copilot will help schedule meetings and draft agendas by the end of November.

Microsoft is also introducing new AI agents to improve business processes. Every SharePoint site will have an agent for quick project details and document access, improving work speed for employees. The Interpreter agent in Teams will provide live translation during meetings, with a public preview set for early 2025.
The Employee Self-Service Agent will help staff with common questions and tasks, starting with HR and IT. Other agents, such as the Facilitator and Project Manager, will manage note-taking and project planning.
To support IT teams, Microsoft launched the Copilot Control System. This tool allows IT staff to oversee and protect Copilot and its agents. It includes advanced data protection and controls over user access.
Microsoft also announced the Windows Resiliency Initiative, with Quick Machine Recovery. This lets admins fix PCs even if they won’t start. Microsoft also launched Windows 365 Link, a Cloud PC device that provides easy access to Windows 365.
Overall, Microsoft said its new Copilot features aim to save time, increase productivity and help business growth. The company said it focuses on empowering users and using innovative technology.
