Kejriwal announces free healthcare for senior citizens under Sanjeevani Yojna ahead of Delhi polls

AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal has announced a healthcare promise aimed at senior citizens, declaring free treatment for individuals over 60 years under the proposed Sanjeevani Yojna.

Addressing the public, Kejriwal stated, “Elderly over the age of 60 will receive free treatment under the Sanjeevani Yojna, in private and government hospitals alike. There will be no upper limit on the cost of treatment.”

He further assured that registration for the scheme would begin in the next couple of days. “AAP workers will visit your homes for registration. They will provide you with a card—keep it safe. Once we come into power after the elections, this policy will be implemented,” he added.

The initiative, if rolled out, could be a game-changer for senior citizens seeking accessible healthcare, with its promise of unlimited cost coverage across healthcare facilities.
