Andi Eigenmann clapped back at a netizen’s unsolicited comment about the homeschool life of her kids, Lilo and Koa.
On Instagram, the Siargao-based former actress shared an Instagram Reel of her kids’ first year homeschooling on the island.
“A glimpse of Lilo & Koa’s 1st year as home/life schoolers! (AKA the 1st Semester),” she wrote.
While her post earned praise from several users, there was one netizen’s remark that did not sit well with Andi.
Shortly after, she took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday where she reposted her video.
“Them Karen’s been saying they feel bad for my children because they don’t get to learn in school. Best believe these nuggets will grow up being kind & happy AND whatever else their heart desires,” she wrote.
In another Instagram Story, she shared a screenshot of a comment from a netizen that read: “Mas ok sa school talaga yong naka-uniform kasama mga classmates nagponytails hair at clif hinatid sundo sa school.”
In response to the netizen, Andi wrote that she isn’t sure if her kids would be actually unhappy for not getting to experience wearing a school uniform.
“But don’t worry, in our homeschool, they not only get to wear their hair in a ponytail and a clip if they would like, they will also learn to spell the word CLIP correctly,” she said.
Lilo and Koa are Andi’s kids with her fiance, professional surfer Philmar Alipayo. Their family is based in Siargao.
Andi also has a daughter, Ellie, with actor Jake Ejercito.
