Kate Valdez starred in the music video of Fumiya Sankai’s “i.”
On Sunday, the Japanese artist dropped the music video of his latest single via his official YouTube channel, FuMi.
The Sparkle actress featured in the video as Fumiya’s love interest. It showed sweet scenes of them as a couple, only for Fumiya to wake up at the end in an empty home. As he promises to keep waiting for her, “Part 1” flashes on the screen, teasing a continuation to the story.
The music video also featured behind-the-scenes clips of Kate and Fumiya goofing off on set.
The pair sparked dating rumors in August after they spent the actress’s birthday together in Hong Kong Disneyland. The trip, per Kate, was a gift from him.
Kate hasn’t officially confirmed if Fumiya is her boyfriend, but she said in “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” in September that their “feelings are mutual,” adding that he had already said “I love you” to her.
Later that month, the two launched a joint TikTok page where they took on fan questions. In one of their answers, they said that they’re both open to working on a loveteam project together.
Kate currently stars in “Shining Inheritance” with Kylie Alcantara, Michael Sager, Paul Salas, and Coney Reyes.
Fumiya, on the other hand, rose to fame when he joined a Philippine reality show in 2019. He is also a content creator and a recording artist.
