It was McLaren first constructors title since 1998. The season will also be remembered for Lewis Hamilton racing for the last time for Mercedes. It was the end of the most successful driver and team partnership in F1. Constant on-track success meant that Verstappen has emerged as the highest paid F1 driver for 2024. Hamilton despite ending the season outside top-five kept earning big bucks. So who are F1’s top-10 highest earning racers for 2024 and how much did they earn? Find out below

The Australian enjoyed podium finished in in Monaco, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Singapore and Qatar. In the final standing the 23-year old was fourth. This was in sharp contrast to 2023 season when he finished fourth. Alonso’s best race of the year was in Saudi Arabia where he clinched the fifth spot. The two-time World Champion holds the record of being the first F1 driver to feature in over 400 Grand Prix races. The Brit finished the season at seventh place. Hamilton enjoyed the European leg of the season as most of his podium finishes came in Europe. Hamilton finished first in home Grand Prix of Great Britain and also in Belgium. There was one more podium finish for Hamilton in Las Vegas. Hamilton’s 12 years stay at Mercedes brought them together six Drivers’ titles, eight Constructors’ championships, 84 wins, 78 poles and 153 podium finishes. He will now be moving to Ferrari.
