1. Family travel takes the lead | Family vacations are set to dominate travel plans, with 34% of respondents intending to travel with family in 2025. Indonesians lead the way, with 58% planning multi-generational trips, while 30% of Indian travellers also prefer family holidays. 4. Budget-friendly travel | Cost-conscious travellers are focusing on budget options, with 65% planning to spend less than $250 (INR 21,073) per night on accommodation. In India, 70% prioritize budget when planning trips. However, international travel remains popular, with 87% of travellers planning to take as many or more trips compared to 2024, and 52% of these journeys are expected to be international. Don't make work part of your holiday | Some people have a habit of staying tuned to their work life even when they are traveling. Attending work calls or replying to emails on a holiday disrupts the feeling of being on a holiday as you are wired in. This is the root cause of facing the blues as you are not 100% present there and get a feeling of working even on your holiday.

5. Combining work and travel | Alongside traditional business trips, the survey highlights the rise of digital nomads—remote workers blending leisure with work. One in 25 travellers expects to work while traveling in 2025. The Philippines shows the highest interest in this trend, with one in fourteen travellers planning to work remotely during their trips. Inspiration comes from various sources, including personal hobbies (71%), great value deals (56%), and recommendations from friends and family (33%). Social media also plays a role, with 20% of respondents drawing inspiration from platforms like Instagram.
