FIITJEE founder’s video allegedly abusing employee causes stir

A recent video showing DK Goel, the founder chairman of FIITJEE, allegedly abusing an employee in an official online meeting has caused a stir within the organisation.

The clip captures a virtual meeting held by Goel with various centres of FIITJEE, reportedly aimed at addressing the issue of delayed salaries for employees.

Delayed salaries and reactions

The meeting, which took place at least 12 days ago, was meant to be an open forum for employees to voice their concerns and seek clarification from Goel regarding various matters.

One of the topics discussed was FIITJEE’s recent investment in the ed-tech industry, which triggered a heated response from Goel when an employee pointed out that the information was already publicly available.

This led to a confrontation in which Goel allegedly used abusive language towards the employee in question, demanding that they be removed from the meeting.

Struggles with salary delays

It has come to light that FIITJEE employees have been facing salary delays for the past five months, adding to the existing tensions within the organisation.

The online video meeting with Goel was intended to provide employees with a platform to address their concerns directly to management. However, the incident has only escalated the situation.

Founded by Goel in 1992, FIITJEE is a well-known coaching institute specialising in preparing students for various competitive exams, including those for IITs, NITs, and science Olympiads.
