Directed by Kalees, the little over three-minute trailer gives a sneak peek into the world of Baby John — a perfect combo of wild action, entertainment, humour as well as foot-tapping tracks.
While there were rumours doing rounds for some time now that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will be seen in a cameo in the film, the makers have teased a quick, partial glimpse of the ‘Dabangg’ star, leaving the fans super-excited! Towards the end of the trailer, people do get a brief glimpse of Salman’s eyes, although his face is covered in black cloth. At the end, he can be heard saying, “Merry Christmas.”
“#BabyJohnTrailer. Action, fire, and unstoppable GOOD VIBES! Baby John brings it all! #BabyJohnTrailer out now,” Varun wrote on X while sharing the trailer.

Besides him, the film also features Jackie Shroff, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Zara Zyanna and Jackie Shroff.
Speaking about his involvement in the project, Varun said in a statement, “I’m beyond thrilled to be a part of Baby John. This film is a deeply emotional and powerful journey, and it’s been an incredible experience bringing this character to life.”
The actor said that the trailer of the film offers “just a glimpse of the intensity and heart this story carries, and I can’t wait for the audience to witness it on the big screen.”
He further noted that working in it was “truly special” for him.
Atlee, who is presenting the film, said it addresses a “very important and timely subject.”
“While it is a highly entertaining family film, it also highlights critical issues like women’s safety, which is a major concern today. Additionally, it explores the impact of parenting, portraying the contrast between a good father and a bad father, and how good parenting can shape a better society,” Atlee said and added that he feels “incredibly proud” to produce the “meaningful project.”
Baby John is all set for release in theatres worldwide on December 25 on the occasion of Christmas.
