What made the evening special for the audience was the warm gesture of Diljit Dosanjh, who is currently in Bengaluru as a part of his multi-city Dil-Luminati Tour 2024. The actor-singer welcomed Deepika Padukone on the stage.
The actress joined Diljit on stage, where she danced, hugged him and even taught him a little bit of Kannada.
Hours after the concert, social media was filled with her videos from the stage. Videos from the concert show her grooving to Diljit‘s performance and interacting with the audience. In a video on Instagram, the Punjabi singer and the audience were seen cheering as Deepika appeared on the stage. She waved at the audience, bowed and folded her hands. The actress then hugged Diljit and danced briefly with him onstage.
In another video, the actress was seen teaching a sentence in Kannada to Diljit, which he repeated after her. A user shared the video on X, writing, “Started the year with @diljitdosanjh’s cameo at Ed Sheeran’s concert, ending with Deepika Padukone’s cameo at

Diljit praised Deepika, saying, “Kitna payara inhone kaam kiya hai. Humne inko bade parde par dekha hai. Kabhi socha na tha ki itni paas se dekhne ko milenge. Itne pyaare aur apne dum pe jinhone jagah banai hai Bollywood mein (She has done such lovely work. I’ve seen her on the big screen. I never thought I would be able to see her from so close. Such lovely work and she made her mark in Bollywood, all by herself).”

Deepika wore a casual white T-shirt and denim for the event.
On the professional front, Deepika was last seen in the cop drama Singham Again, alongside Ranveer, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar. On the other hand, Diljit has been creating waves globally with his Dil-Luminati Tour. The singer will culminate his tour with his last concert in Guwahati on December 29.
