“Many of you may have experienced the grandeur of the Prayagraj Kumbh in 2019, which became a symbol of India’s cultural pride globally. The efficient management of the event was widely acknowledged,” PTI quoted the minister as saying.
He stressed that the upcoming Maha Kumbh would surpass the 2019 event in both grandeur and spiritual significance, expecting to attract over 45 crore pilgrims, saints, ascetics, and tourists. He highlighted that the Maha Kumbh, recognised by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage, would return to Prayagraj after a 12-year gap.
