Director of Tourism, IAS Suneel Anchipaka, shared a presentation, showcasing Goa’s blend of stunning landscapes, its hinterland, cultural richness and the state’s well-known hospitality. In a video, he highlighted the state’s charm to life. The event was held in the presence of Her Excellency Ms Nagma Mohamed Mallick, Ambassador of India to Poland, and Counsellor Mohan Lal.

Highlighting the deep cultural and tourism ties between India and Poland, Anchipaka said, “Blessed by the visit of Pope John Paul II, who graced Goa with his presence and bestowed his blessings upon this land, we are delighted to extend a warm invitation to Polish tourists to experience the charm and beauty of Goa.” He showcased the state’s commitment to providing great travel experiences to tourists, while focussing on the unique activities of the state and expressed enthusiasm that Poland will become its next key market.
At the event, Goa’s artistic heritage was displayed with an interactive Q&A session addressing travel-related questions.

One-on-one discussions between Goa Tourism representatives and Polish stakeholders allowed for in-depth conversations to build partnerships that would enhance every visitor’s experience when in the state. Following the Goa Roadshow 2024 in Warsaw, the Goa Tourism Department is looking to bolster its presence in the Polish market, aiming to attract more travellers and become a top destination for Polish tourists.
