OnePlus 13 India launch confirmed, global debut set for January 2025

It is official! The OnePlus 13 will launch globally in January 2025 and in three colourways — Midnight Ocean, Black Eclipse and Arctic Dawn.

First launched in China in October, the OnePlus 13 boasts a 6.82-inch BOE X2 2K+ AMOLED display with an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, offering configurations of up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

The phone’s camera system includes a 50MP Sony LYT-808 main sensor, complemented by a 50MP 1/1.95″ LYT600 3X periscope telephoto lens with OIS and a 120-degree ultra-wide camera.

The front camera is a 32MP shooter featuring the Sony IMX615 sensor, promising high-quality selfies and video calls. It also leverages OPPO’s flagship X8 series algorithms for advanced image processing.

Built for durability, the OnePlus 13 is rated IP68 + IP69 for dust and water resistance. It packs a 6,000mAh battery, supporting 100W SuperVOOC fast charging for a full charge in just 36 minutes. It also offers 50W wireless flash charging and magnetic charging for added flexibility.

Pricing starts at 4,499 yuan (approximately $632 or ₹53,150) for the 12GB + 256GB model, positioning it as a premium contender in the flagship smartphone market.

While OnePlus has not confirmed anything, the OnePlus 13R is also expected to arrive in India and other regions alongside the flagship OnePlus 13.
