Kristel Fulgar is officially in a relationship with her South Korean suitor, Suhyuk Ha!
In a YouTube video titled “Finally, my first boyfriend,” she shared clips from Suhyuk’s baptism to Kristel’s religion, Iglesia ni Cristo.
According to Kristel, his conversion took almost 11 months.
“Words can’t fully capture the happiness I’m feeling in this moment. I’ve never known a love like this before, it fills me with peace. For the first time, I truly feel whole, as though I’ve finally found the missing piece of my heart,” she wrote.
Suhyuk expressed his gratitude to Kristel for waiting and asked her a question while holding her in a warm embrace.
“If you’re ready to be an official couple, if you are OK with it, just touch my back once,” he said. “If you don’t want, touch it twice.”
Kristel said that she got deja vu, recalling that she had previously rejected him because of their differences in religious beliefs.
Before giving her answer, Kristel handed over her baptism gift for him, a black wallet.
They hugged again, and Kristel finally made it official by touching his back once.
“Thank you, my baby. I love you!” he said, going “super gigil” after Kristel said “I love you” back.
Earlier this year, Kristel shared their bonding video in Korea. The following month, she posted clips of his first visit to the Philippines.
Kristel, who can speak Korean fluently, won an award at the 2023 Global Influencers Award in South Korea.
