As the Zomato Feed India concert featuring international pop sensation Dua Lipa draws closer, several key roads around Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) will be closed to facilitate the event. The concert, set to take place at MMRDA Ground on Saturday, November 30, is expected to draw a significant crowd, leading to traffic diversions from 1 pm until midnight.
Key roads affected near Bandra Kurla
Several roads will be closed or diverted to manage the flow of traffic for the concert:
- Vehicles from WEH, Dharavi, and BWSL: Traffic coming towards Kurla from the Western Express Highway (WEH), Dharavi, and the Bandra Worli Sea Link (BWSL) will be diverted and prohibited from passing through Bharat Nagar Junction.
- Traffic from Sant Dnyaneshwar Nagar: Vehicles heading from Sant Dnyaneshwar Nagar towards Kurla will also face restrictions near Bharat Nagar Junction.
- Traffic from Kherwadi and Kanakia Palace: Vehicles traveling from Kherwadi Government Colony, Kanakia Palace, and UTI Tower heading towards BKC, Chunabhatti, and Kurla will be rerouted.
- Kurla to WEH, Dharavi, and BWSL: Vehicles traveling from Kurla and Razzak Junction towards WEH, Dharavi, and BWSL will be diverted via Platina Junction to Bharat Nagar Junction.
- CST Road towards MMRDA Ground: Traffic from CST Road heading towards MMRDA Ground and JSW Building will be restricted, with drivers rerouted to UTI Tower and Kanakia Palace.
- Ambani Square and Laxmi Tower: Traffic from Ambani Square towards Diamond Junction and from behind Laxmi Tower towards NABARD Junction will also be blocked.
Dua Lipa, who arrived in Mumbai ahead of her performance, is set to deliver her second live concert in India, following her 2019 appearance at the OnePlus Music Festival. The concert will also feature Indian singer Jonita Gandhi, who will perform as part of the event.
