OPPO said this entry-level smartphone, priced under ₹15,000, has become a popular choice among consumers, underscored by the sale of nearly a lakh units in a single day.
The K12x 5G features durability certifications such as the MIL-STD-810H, IP54 for dust and water resistance, and a Splash Touch technology allowing for wet-screen usage. Per OPPO, the smartphone has resonated strongly in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Bihar, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, and Rajasthan.
According to the latest IDC Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker Report, the K12x 5G ranked among the highest-shipped 5G models in the third quarter of 2024. OPPO secured the second position among the top 10 smartphone brands in India, achieving a market share of 13.9% and demonstrating a substantial year-on-year growth of 47.6%.

The OPPO K12x 5G is available in three colours: Feather Pink, Breeze Blue, and Midnight Violet. It can be purchased through the OPPO e-store, Flipkart, and various retail outlets.
With a sleek design measuring just 7.68mm in thickness and weighing 186 grams, the K12x 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset and features a 5100mAh battery, complemented by a 45W proprietary SuperVOOC charger. The smartphone is equipped with a 32MP AI dual-camera setup, offering advanced photography features such as Dual View video and AI Portrait Retouching. To ensure uninterrupted connectivity, it includes AI Linkboost technology for stable signals even in crowded environments.
The K12x 5G is available in two configurations: 128GB storage with 6GB RAM priced at ₹12,999, and 256GB storage with 8GB RAM at ₹15,999.
