FIIs net buy ₹9,947.55 cr ending 38-day sell streak; DIIs sell ₹6,908 cr
Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) turned net buyers in the equity market today, purchasing ₹9,947.55 crore worth of equities (provisional). This marks a significant shift, ending a 38-session streak of net selling.

Meanwhile, Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) net sold equities worth ₹6,907.97 crore (provisional), according to data.

Experts believe that this move is influenced by the recent MSCI (Morgan Stanley Capital International) rebalancing. The changes in MSCI led to the purchase of around $200 million worth of shares in Indian markets. As part of this rebalancing, FIIs bought 21.4 crore shares of HDFC Bank, valued at approximately ₹38,164 crore.
