BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon is set to release his third studio album, “Ubermensch,” this February.
On Instagram, the leader of the South Korean boy band posted a video teaser of the upcoming album. It showed two silhouettes walking towards each other before the word “Ubermensch” is flashed on screen.
The album will drop on February 25.
This is G-Dragon’s first full-length album in almost 12 years after the release of his second studio album, “Coup d’Etat,” in September 2013. His debut solo album, “Heartbreaker,” was released in 2009.
He also released two singles in 2024, namely “Home Sweet Home” featuring fellow BIGBANG members Taeyang and Daesung, and “Power.”
The artist’s comeback was confirmed by his agency, Galaxy Corporation, in April 2024. His return was first teased in 2023 when he signed with Galaxy Corporation after his exclusive contract with YG Entertainment expired in the same year.
G-Dragon rose to popularity as the leader of BIGBANG, which debuted in 2006 and went on to become one of the most popular K-pop boy groups. Among his solo hits are “Without You (feat. ROSE),” “Untitled, 2014,” “Crooked,” and more.
Meanwhile, BIGBANG’s last release was the single “Still Life” in 2022.
