In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, BASF India posted a net profit of ₹140 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing. The company’s revenue from operations increased 13% to ₹3,758.7 crore as against ₹3,326.3 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

At the operating level, EBITDA fell 19.9% to ₹170.3 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal over ₹212.6 crore in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.
EBITDA margin stood at 4.5% in the reporting quarter as compared to 6.4% in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal. EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation.
The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of BASF India Ltd ended at ₹4,250.00, up by ₹8.25 or 0.19% on the BSE.
