Kotak Mahindra Bank to suspend some debit card services for maintenance: Check details

Kotak Mahindra Bank will temporarily suspend certain debit card services on February 5 and February 12 due to a scheduled maintenance activity aimed at upgrading its banking systems. The bank notified customers via email, advising them to plan their transactions in advance to avoid disruptions.

Timing of the maintenance

During the maintenance window, which will last from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM on both days, Kotak VISA Debit Card and Spendz Card users will be unable to complete in-store purchases, online transactions, or international ATM withdrawals.

“To provide you with a seamless banking experience, our systems will be undergoing a maintenance activity. Hence, some services will not be available on your Kotak VISA Debit Card/ Spendz Card as per the details mentioned,” the bank stated in the email.

Spendz is a prepaid card designed to help users track and manage their daily expenses. Kotak Mahindra Bank describes it as a tool to help customers control their budgets by adding a fixed amount for monthly expenses, making payments via the Spendz Card or UPI, and tracking spending through statements.
