Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Ultra specifications leak before the launch

Samsung’s new laptop lineup is rumored to launch later this month. A few days ago, the design and some features of Galaxy Book 4 series laptops were revealed through a leak. Now, complete specifications of the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra, Samsung’s next-generation flagship laptop, have been leaked through a new report.

Galaxy Book 4 Ultra specifications leak again

The Galaxy Book 4 Ultra (960XGL) will walk the same lines as its predecessor, offering high-end specifications in a premium body and a fantastic OLED screen. According to a Chinese microblogging website, the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra will have a 16-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with QHD+ resolution (2,880 x 1,800 pixels) and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is the same screen used in the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra and several other non-Samsung premium laptops.

The upcoming premium laptop reportedly features the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, which has up to 16 cores (6 + 8 + 2 cores), up to 22 threads, a base clock speed of 3.8GHz, a boost clock speed of up to 4.80 GHz, a total of 24 MB of L3 cache, and 28W TDP. This is among the highest-end processors from Intel for next year. This chip will be paired with up to 32GB RAM LPDDR5X RAM (7,467MHz) and up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. The report also claims that the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra will have the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 GPU with 6GB of VRAM. It will also be offered in a higher-end trim with an Intel Core 9 185H processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM.

In terms of connectivity, the laptop is expected to feature Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 (with LE Audio), Hi-Res Audio, AKG-tuned quad speakers, and a battery made by Samsung SDI. Previous reports had already confirmed that the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra has a backlit keyboard, a large trackpad, a 2MP webcam, a fingerprint reader, Dolby Atmos audio, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It could weigh 1.83kg for its highest-end variant.

Galaxy Book 4 lineup has five models

The Galaxy Book 4 lineup will feature five models: Galaxy Book 4, Galaxy Book 4 360, Galaxy Book 4 Pro, Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book 4 Ultra. All of them will have several trims based on the RAM and storage options.
