“Devotees are coming from far-flung areas and have parked their vehicles here. The fire broke out due to extreme heat. Fire engines have reached the spot and the fire has been controlled. The Ertiga car is completely burnt and the Venue car is partially burnt. There are no casualties in the incident, everyone is safe,” Yadav told ANI.

This incident comes after a previous fire broke out at the Maha Kumbh Mela on January 19. An alleged cylinder blast caused it.
Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of the Maha Kumbh Mela, Vivek Chaturvedi, said that around 70 to 80 huts and eight to 10 tents were burnt to the ground during the fire that occurred on January 19 in the Gita Press camp.
Meanwhile, the world’s largest spiritual gathering, the Maha Kumbh Mela has drawn over 10 crore devotees and visitors to Prayagraj as of January 23, according to an official statement from the Ministry of Culture.
The gathering commenced on January 13 and will continue until February 26.
