Updated 2024 NFL Draft order: Bears at No. 1; how picks 1-32 stand after Week 11

On the same weekend that potential No. 1 pick Caleb Williams likely played his final game at USC, the Chicago Bears — by virtue of a 23-point Panthers loss — inched ever closer to securing the top selection at the 2024 NFL Draft. 

A reminder as the draft order starts to fall into place that two other first-round picks already have changed hands, in addition to the Bears-Panthers deal that went down last March: The Texans own Cleveland’s selection via the Deshaun Watson trade, and the Cardinals hold Houston’s original Round 1 pick as part of a trade from the 2023 draft. (Houston moved up to select Will Anderson Jr.)

The order for picks 19-32 will be decided by playoff results — teams in those positions here are sorted by their current playoff seeding. Strength of schedule is the first tiebreaker, with priority going to the team that’s played an easier schedule.
