Karad South Election Result 2024 LIVE: BJP’s Atulbaba Bhosale in the lead
The Karad South Assembly seat is witnessing a closely contested battle in the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections.

Dr Atulbaba Suresh Bhosale of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading with 64,939 votes, while Prithviraj Dajisaheb Chavan of the Indian National Congress (INC) trails in second place with 54,025 votes, according to data from the Election Commission of India as of 1.25 pm.

This marks a significant shift in the constituency, where Chavan, a veteran Congress leader, won the 2019 elections by defeating Bhosale by a margin of 9,513 votes. In that election, Chavan secured 43.90% of the total votes cast, with the BJP following closely.
