Anushakti Nagar Assembly Election 2024: Nawab Malik’s daughter Sana faces Fahad Ahmad
Anushakti Nagar is a part of the Mumbai South-Central Lok Sabha constituency. Sana Malik, the daughter of incumbent legislator Nawab Malik, represented the Mahayuti alliance from the Ajit Pawar faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Fahad Ahmad contested for the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) from the Sharad Pawar faction of the NCP.

In 2019, Nawab Malik of the then-undivided NCP won the Anushakti Nagar constituency after receiving 65,217 votes. He defeated Tukaram Kate of the Shiv Sena (SHS), who secured 52,466 votes.

In the 2014 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Tukaram Kate won the seat after receiving 39,966 votes, narrowly defeating Malik, who got 38,959 votes.
