Oracle Financial Q3 Results | Net profit falls 27% to ₹541 crore, revenue dips 6% to ₹1,715 crore

Software company Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd (OFSS) on Wednesday (January 15) reported a 26.9% year-on-year (YoY) decline in net profit at ₹541.3 crore for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2024.

In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, Oracle Financial Services Software posted a net profit of ₹740.8 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing. The company’s revenue from operations fell 5.9% to ₹1,715.2 crore as against ₹1,823.6 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.

At the operating level, EBITDA dropped 17.8% to ₹714.2 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal over ₹868.5 crore in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal.

EBITDA margin stood at 41.5% in the reporting quarter as compared to 47.6% in the corresponding period in the previous fiscal. EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation.

For the nine-month period, Oracle Financial Services Software reported consolidated revenue of ₹5,131 crore, an 8% increase year-on-year. Operating income rose by 14% to ₹2,250 crore, while net income grew by 5% to ₹1,736 crore.

For the quarter ended December 2024, consolidated operating income fell by 17% to ₹700 crore, and net income dropped by 27% to ₹541 crore compared to the same quarter in the previous fiscal year.

Makarand Padalkar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, of Oracle Financial Services Software, said, ” The fiscal year has seen several marquee wins across the globe and a strong uptick for our products on cloud deployment.

In the nine months ending December 2024, our License and Cloud revenue grew 20% and Support revenue grew 9% as compared to the corresponding period last fiscal. We see a strong deal pipeline across our product portfolio from customers around the globe.”

The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd ended at ₹10,564.55, down by ₹187.55 or 1.74% on the BSE.
