“We are now pleased to inform you that Saudi Aramco and Welspun Corp Ltd. signed an MOU of Strategic Cooperation to establish a state-of-the-art LSAW Line Pipe manufacturing capacity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the ongoing Aramco IKTVA Forum & Exhibition 2025,” Welspun Corp Ltd said in a regulatory filing.
The announcement was made during the Aramco IKTVA Forum & Exhibition 2025. The proposed greenfield facility will have an annual production capacity of 350,000 metric tonne and will be set up under Welspun Corp’s wholly owned subsidiary in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Welspun Corp had earlier received board approval for the project on November 8, 2024. Welspun Corp is a leading line pipe manufacturer globally has been a regular supplier of line pipes to Saudi Aramco for close to two decades and has been a part of many prestigious oil & gas pipeline projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The proposed LSAW line pipe manufacturing facility of Welspun Corp in KSA shall be equipped with distinct and comprehensive capabilities to service future line pipe requirements of Saudi Aramco including, oil, gas, hydrogen transmission, and also CCUS developments.
The said facility will be located in Dammam 3rd Industrial City, and commence its operations by mid-2026. Shares of Welspun Corp Ltd ended at ₹729.70, up by ₹8.25, or 1.14% on the BSE.
