For Sofia Pablo, Allen Ansay is her safe haven.
The “Prinsesa ng City Jail” stars graced the Monday’s episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” where they talked about their new series, and their relationship on- and offscreen.
During the show’s “Fast Talk” portion, Tito Boy asked Team Jolly to complete the sentence: “Ikaw ang prinsesa, ikaw ang prinsipe ko dahil…”
Allen answered first by saying, “Ikaw ang prinsesa ko kasi lagi mo akong napapasaya.”
As for Sofia, she said Allen is her prince because “you make me feel safe.”
Girl is consistent. In a previous “Unang Hirit” interview, Sofia also said she feels safe when she’s on set with Allen.
Allen has always been open about his intentions with Sofia, and now that he’s officially courting her (after she turned 18), the young actor said he is willing to wait.
“Ako lagi ko pong sinasabi sa kaniya na hindi niya kailangang magmadali. Basta alam niya na nararamdaman ko na gusto ko siya. And willing akong hintayin hanggang kailan man ‘yun,” Allen said — not unlike what he said a year ago.
Given Allen’s patience, Sofia feels kilig whenever Allen professes his willingness to wait until she is ready.
“Siyempre kinikilig. Iba kasi ‘yung feeling kapag alam mo na aantayin ka. Kasi diba ‘yung generation namin ang daming ‘ayaw mo naman eh, ang tagal mo eh Hanap na lang ng iba,” she shared.
“So ako, I feel very bless na ganon si Allen, like hindi siya ‘yung ayaw mo ah. Hindi ka pwede ah. Iba na lang.’ He really waits,” Sofia added.
When asked why is he deserving to Sofia’s heart, Allen answered: “Unang-una nire-respeto ko ‘yung parents mo, and never ako nagtago sa kanila. Kumbaga sinasabi ko pa sa kanila ‘yung nararamdaman ko sayo, and ‘yung mga dreams ko for us in the future.”
Sofia and Allen, also known as AlFia or Team Jolly, previously starred together in “Luv Is: Caught in His Arms” and “In My Dreams.”
Sofia and Allen are topbilling the GMA Afternoon Prime series that started airing on January 13.
“Prinsesa ng City Jail” follows the story of Princess (Sofia), a young girl raised near a prison by her jail guard father. She brings light to the lives of the people around her, especially the convicted criminals. But despite the love and happiness she finds with them, Princess still longs for a mother who abandoned her.
Aside from TeamJolly, the series also stars Denise Laurel, Beauty Gonzales and Will Ashley.
