The EBITDA margin stood at 11.9% in the reporting quarter against 14.2% in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. EBITDA is earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation.
GTPL Hathway’s digital cable TV segment saw a year-on-year increase of 200,000 active subscribers, bringing the total to 9.60 million. Paying subscribers also grew by 200,000, reaching 8.90 million. This contributed to a total subscription revenue of ₹3,024 million.
In the broadband segment, GTPL Hathway added 37,000 subscribers year-on-year, bringing the total broadband subscriber count to 1.04 million. The company’s homepass reached 5.95 million, with 75% of it available for FTTX conversion.
Broadband ARPU stood at ₹465 per month, reflecting a slight increase of ₹5 compared to the previous year. Additionally, average data consumption per user grew by 6%, reaching 365 GB per month.
The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of GTPL Hathway Ltd ended at ₹148.25, up by ₹12.20, or 8.97%, on the BSE.
