Dina Bonnevie has released the details for the wake and burial of her late husband, Agriculture Undersecretary for Livestock Deogracias Victor “DV” Savellano.
On Instagram on Tuesday, Dina shared that the public viewing will be held at the Aeternitas Chapels & Columbarium – Chapel of Hera in Batasan Hills, Quezon City, starting at 10 a.m., from January 8 to 11.
A wake will also be held at the Savellano residence in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, from January 12 to 16.
The burial will take place on January 17 at Cabugao Cemetery.
In the comments section, condolences from fellow celebrities such as Yasmien Kurdi, Carmina Villarroel, Dawn Zulueta, Cherry Pie Picache, Jackie Lou Blanco, and more poured in.
According to a report by Boy Abunda on Tuesday, Savellano passed away on January 7 due to an abdominal aneurysm. He was 65.
An abdominal aortic aneurysm occurs when there is swelling in the aorta, which is the artery that carries blood from the heart to the abdomen.
Savellano previously served as Deputy House Speaker and Representative of the 1st District of Ilocos Sur, where he took part in forming the Sustainable Tobacco Enhancement Program (STEP) with NTA officials and stakeholders in 2020.
