Jin is back for a spooky two-part apocalyptic adventure with J-Hope!
In the newest episode of variety show “Run Jin,” the two BTS members were made to enter an abandoned hospital with zombies as a surprise mission.
In the first part of the adveture, released last week, Jin was shown planning a “kidnapping scheme” that will lead to a military-themed episode to tease J-Hope after he had just been discharged from his mandatory military service.
“Kidnapping him is the polite thing to do… For people who are done with military duty, the one thing that’d be really annoying is doing military content as soon as they’re discharged,” Jin said.
“As long as others are having a hard time, I’m totally fine with [doing hard things, too],” he added.
After successfully pulling his “scheme,” both Jin and J-Hope were later surprised with an adventure inside an abandoned hospital, which was later revealed to be a zombie escape room.
In the second part of the episode, they were tasked to protect themselves from zombies by trying to find survival items to escape the abandoned hospital.
The episode featured Jin and J-Hope pretending to be zombies, screaming as they are chased by zombies, and using laser-guns to tag zombies.
In the end, Jin and his team ended the episode with a special celebration for J-Hope’s discharge.
Fans took to social media to express their amusement and comments on the newest Run Jin episodes.
“I know they did horror and zombies content before, but Run BTS [and] Jin staff really go [the] extra mile for concept, twists and turns and production,” praised a netizen on X.
“Those two Run Jin episodes with J-Hope were the funniest thing I’ve watched in a while, like I cannot remember the last time I laughed like that,” added another netizen.
“Run Jin” is a spin-off variety show of Run BTS, with new episodes released on YouTube every Tuesday.
The show, which currently has 16 episodes, has already featured several celebrity guests such as TXT’s Yeonjun, Running Man host Jee Seokjin, and actor Lee Yi Kung.
In November, Jin released his debut full-length solo album “Happy” with over six songs, including a duet with Red Velvet’s Wendy. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/JCB, GMA Integrated News
