“We’re incredibly proud to collaborate with Dell on the next generation of commercial PCs powered by AMD Ryzen AI PRO processors,” said Jack Huynh, Senior Vice President and General Manager of AMD’s Computing and Graphics Group. “Ryzen AI PRO CPUs are built to handle today’s workflows and tomorrow’s AI demands, and when combined with the power of a Dell PC, they create the perfect combination for the enterprise.”
Sam Burd, President of Dell’s Client Solutions Group, echoed these sentiments and painted a rosy picture of the transformative potential of AI-powered PCs. “AI PCs represent the next frontier in computing, transforming how we work, create, and connect. This progress depends on cutting-edge silicon innovation, which is why we’ve worked to engineer AMD Ryzen AI PRO processors into our new Dell Pro portfolio.”

According to AMD, the third-generation AMD Ryzen AI PRO processors are designed to enhance business productivity through advanced AI features such as Copilot+, which includes live captioning, real-time language translation during conference calls, and sophisticated AI image generation.
These processors are advertised to deliver performance without compromising on efficiency and feature robust security for system administrators to streamline IT operations.
On Monday, Dell announced its latest lineup of consumer, gaming, and commercial laptops. The more interesting development is that Dell has effectively killed its Precision, XPS, Latitude, and Inspiron nomenclature in favour of a leaner, more streamlined laptop lineup — Dell (consumer), Dell Pro (productivity), and Dell Pro Max (performance).
The new AMD Ryzen AI Pro chips will power the Dell Pro laptops, which both companies said are well positioned to take advantage of the AMD Ryzen AI PRO processors’ computing, graphics processing and neural processing capabilities.
