The strategy is built on two key pillars: electric products and an electric ecosystem. The company’s entry into the EV segment will begin with the launch of the e VITARA, its first eBorn SUV.
Specifically designed for Indian customers, the e VITARA signifies a commitment to addressing local needs in the transition to electric mobility.

Simultaneously, Maruti Suzuki is working on creating a robust ecosystem to support EV adoption, including an infrastructure that enables convenient and efficient EV ownership.

The company plans to showcase its ‘Made-in-India-for-the-World’ eBorn SUV, the e VITARA, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi. Visitors can expect to see a mix of lifestyle concept vehicles and existing models, including the Dzire, Swift, Invicto, Jimny, Fronx, Grand Vitara, and Brezza.
