KC Concepcion wrote the sweetest birthday greeting for her mom, Sharon Cuneta.
Sharing a childhood photo smiling with the Megastar on Instagram, KC said, “Happy birthday to the woman who was always my sunshine growing up!”
“My first best friend, my first valentine, my secret Santa, my first idol, my one and only,” she added.
According to KC, they have had their challenges, but Sharon teaches her to be better.
“We’ve been through a lot together, but like a sunflower, you always manage to turn towards the light… And now, you show me how to do the same,” KC said.
“I love you, my beautiful Mama,” she added.
Sharon saw the post and commented, “Thank you, my baby. I love you.”
The reconciliation between the mother and daughter pair is going strong. In December, KC said she is “ending the year right” by having a meaningful conversation with her mom.
They even spent Christmas together.
“Thank you 2024 for bringing my mama and I together again… Perfect way to close another year. Love you dear God, your timing is really beautiful! Forever yours, my mama,” KC said on Instagram.
Sharon and KC previously had a rough patch, with the Megastar telling Boy Abunda back in 2023 that the Dear Heart concert was only the second time she saw KC that year.
“I missed her so much,” Sharon told Tito Boy.
“Kahit anong hidwaan, ang nanay, minsan nga ‘yung anak na may kasalanan, ikaw pa magpapakumbaba,” she added. “Kahit galit na galit ka, pero pag niyakap ka ng anak mo, wala na, nakalimutan mo na, nothing matters.”
