At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 in Las Vegas, Samsung unveiled its latest lineup of TVs, showcasing cutting-edge technology, including improved anti-glare screens, advanced AI capabilities, and enormous screen sizes. The company’s annual First Look event offered a glimpse into the future of its television innovations, headlined by the new S95F QD-OLED and flagship Mini LED models.
Samsung is doubling down on its glare-free display technology. The matte, anti-glare coating, now improved to reduce reflections from lighting and sunlight further, is being rolled out to more models, including Samsung’s flagship Mini LED “Neo QLED” TVs. This includes the 4K QN90F and both of Samsung’s 8K models, marking the first time this technology has been integrated into Mini LED displays.
The new S95F QD-OLED achieves extraordinary brightness levels of up to 4,000 nits while supporting a refresh rate of 165Hz, making it a dream for PC gamers.
Samsung’s 2025 lineup also includes TVs in massive sizes. The QN90F Mini LED TV tops out at a staggering 115 inches, while the QN80F offers a glossy 100-inch option. To ensure clarity on these oversized screens,

Samsung has introduced the “Supersize Picture Enhancer,” which optimises 4K content for larger displays. However, Dolby Vision remains absent from Samsung’s TVs, a deliberate and longstanding choice by the company.
For 2025, Samsung is unifying its AI-driven features under the new branding of “Vision AI.” This includes familiar functionalities like AI Upscaling, Auto HDR Remastering, and Adaptive Sound Pro, alongside new innovations. The “Click to Search” feature allows users to identify actors, locations, or clothing on-screen with a single press of the new AI button on the SolarCell remote. Another addition, Samsung Food, recognises food on-screen and provides recipes for viewers to recreate the dishes at home.
Live Translate is another standout feature, offering real-time closed-caption translations in up to seven languages. Meanwhile, Samsung AI Home Security transforms TVs into smart security hubs, analysing video feeds and audio for unusual activity, such as break-ins or falls, and sending alerts directly to users’ phones or TVs.
Samsung is enhancing its voice assistant, Bixby, which now supports contextual commands and multitasking, such as changing channels and adjusting volume simultaneously. Additionally, users can control their Samsung TVs using the Galaxy Watch, adding convenience to the viewing experience.
Samsung’s lifestyle TV series is also getting an upgrade with the introduction of The Frame Pro, offering enhanced features for design-conscious viewers. Pricing for the 2025 TV lineup will be announced in the coming months, with shipments expected to begin this spring.
Samsung’s bold moves in anti-glare technology, AI integration, and screen innovation signal its determination to redefine the TV experience, even as debates around certain features continue.
