CES 2025 | Artificial Intelligence, quantum tech, and sustainability take centre stage

Las Vegas is gearing up to host the world’s largest and most influential technology event as the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 opens its doors from January 7 to 10.

Organised by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the four-day event promises to spotlight groundbreaking advancements across Artificial Intelligence, mobility, quantum technologies, digital health, and sustainability.

With over 4,500 exhibitors, including 1,400 startups and more than 1,100 speakers across 300 sessions, CES 2025 is poised to set the stage for the next chapter in global tech innovation.

Industry titans such as Amazon, BMW, Bosch, Caterpillar, Honda, LG, Nikon, Panasonic, Qualcomm, Samsung, and Sony will showcase their latest breakthroughs alongside emerging players pushing the boundaries of possibility.

NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang is set to deliver a highly anticipated keynote on opening day, offering insights into the transformative role of AI and advanced computing in today’s world.

“Attendees will witness remarkable innovations addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges, from sustainability and clean energy to smarter healthcare solutions and accessible technologies,” said CTA CEO and Vice Chair Gary Shapiro.

This year, the focus extends beyond just technology—it’s about purpose-driven innovation. Key themes include AI-powered solutions, sustainable energy transitions, smart agriculture, marine technology, and advancements in mobility and carbon-neutral materials.

“It’s all focused around innovation, and a lot of it is aimed at making the world better,” added Shapiro, highlighting the event’s alignment with the United Nations’ sustainable development goals.
