Action to expedite visas to Chinese technicians has come as relief for PLI beneficiaries: Govt sources
Government sources have told CNBC-TV18 that a pro-active approach adopted in expediting visas for Chinese technicians has come as a relief for Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) beneficiary companies.

Stating that several companies used to flag issues of delay in visas for Chinese technicians needed to install or repair certain machines in PLI beneficiary sectors in India, sources indicated that the pendency of visa requests has gone down after pro-active action by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) as a portal was instituted to streamline the process to facilitate such business visas.
