Heart Evangelista played the generous Santa Claus this Christmas after gifting her team luxury items.
As seen on the latest episode of “Heart World” on Saturday, the Global Fashion Icon gave her team Hermes bags wrapped in a newspaper and placed inside a styro box with tilapia.
“I always want kung anong mayroon ako, gusto ko lahat kami mayroon. Lahat naman tayong nagwo-work hard, ‘di ba?” Heart said.
As her team opened each box, they couldn’t help but turn emotional over Heart’s gifts.
“We love you. Words are not enough to explain everything, to say thank yous. Wala pa atang naimbentong salita na more than thank you very much just to you know show our appreciation. You can count on us, it’s not about the gifts, but it’s more about the love. We are family, at ang family walang iwanan,” Sparkle assistant manager Ira Lesaca said to Heart.
The Sparkle star told her team how blessed she is to have them.
“I know every single pagod, puyat, trabaho na ginawa natin wasn’t just work for you, and it’s not because you would say that pero nararamdaman ko na ginagawa niyo hindi lang dahil trabaho siya, [kundi] dahil mahal natin ang isa’t-isa. So deserve,” she said.
Heart also shared her wishes and aspirations for her team.
“I hope na mas maging blessed pa tayo, not just for ourselves, but to be more of a blessing to others na kung maluwag-luwag ang mga bagay-bagay, then we can also share that to other people,” she said.
As for the gifts, the Kapuso star said that it’s not really about the price, but the story behind the gift, and how much love you poured into it.
“Ako, sa totoo lang ako, sobrang babaw ko lang. Bigyan mo lang ako ng socks na may picture ni Panda, masaya na ako. So truly, it’s about the story behind it, and it’s about the heart that you give with the present na binigay mo sa mga mahal mo sa buhay,” Heart said.
In an earlier episode, Heart said she has always treasured her team with all her heart.
“Heart World” aired its debut episode on October 26. It airs on GMA Network on Saturdays at 9:30 p.m. after “Magpakailanman.”
